One of the most common criticisms leveled at neurology is that it is:
- complicated
- the dominion of academics
- full of rare and weird things that you can’t spell and certainly can’t treat
- only understandable with a detailed knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology
This is all total rubbish!
In order to try and de-bunk this notion, I have put together a range of lectures that, I hope, will give you a very basic approach to neurological disease.
As the website evolves, more will be added – interesting cases, videos that patients have kindly offered to share and links to articles that take you to the next level of understanding and detail.
If you feel a little more confident approaching a neurological presentation having listened to a lecture or two, then it will have been time well spent.
